The hotel is situated over the turquoise ocean, just a delay of one hour from the beach. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view, set atop two rooms below. The service at Merville felt excellent, surpassing its 3-star rating, especially with the welcoming general manager. The location outside Grand Baie in the North of Mauritius offers a romantic atmosphere with white sandy beaches and warm aquamarine waters. The dining options, including the delightful buffet and beach meal menu, were great, although the Saturday night Chinese-Mauritius buffet stood out. The facilities were enjoyable, complementing the overall stay.
